Dog Walking

We provide 30, 45, or 60 minute walk options for your dog. It is important for us to know your dog’s needs including the appropriate distance, speed, tolerance of different weather conditions, temperament when it comes to other humans/pets/kids, etc. We strive to give your dog the personalized care it needs - if your dog needs a speed walk around the neighborhood we can accommodate that. If your dog just likes to take 25 minutes to sniff half the block, we can accommodate that too! We will make sure water is topped off before leaving, and food/treats/meds can be given upon request. Time will start upon entering the property and conclude upon exiting. Any work outside the physical walk (accessing keys, entering the home, donning boots/harness/jacket/etc, giving meds, feeding, etc) is included in the booked timeframe. Any issues with access beyond the walker’s control will also be included in the booked timeframe. Walk includes a photo and brief update of the visit including a “potty report”.

Drop Ins

We offer 30, 45, or 60 minute drop in options for your furry (or scaly) family. We will come check on your pet(s), give some love and affection, handle meal/water/meds, take care of potty needs (for dogs, a short 5-10 min potty break is included, but if more walk time is needed a dog walk should be booked instead). Time will start upon entering the property and conclude upon exiting. If duties of the drop in cannot reasonably be completed in the booked time, the sitter will discuss with the client booking a longer visit or editing of duties. Any issues with access beyond the sitter’s control will also be included in the booked timeframe. Drop in includes a photo and brief update of the visit including a “potty report”.

Constant Care

We offer constant care where we will provide a continuous stay with your pet(s) for the allotted time period. This service must be booked for any pet(s) that cannot be left alone for more than 4 hours, once booked we will work with you to determine amount of time (if any) pet(s) can be left alone. Daytime constant care includes up to 8 hours, additional time can be booked at regular drop in rates. Constant care can only be offered on an as-needed basis and based on availability of sitters. 1 update will be provided for daytime, and 2 provided for overnight.

Specialty Services

Bath: If requested, during overnight pet sitting we can provide a bath for your doggy within 24 hours of your return. Bath will take place in your home, so a towel and pet friendly bath products must be available. In order for this service to be provided, dogs should have a track record of having a calm demeanor during bathtime. We will bathe, towel dry, and do a simple brushing. We are not professional groomers and therefore do not provide any detailed grooming and might decline bathing dogs with coats that require special care. We do not provide nail trims.

Pet-Related Errands: If requested, during overnight pet sitting we can provide pet-related errands at an hourly rate plus mileage. Time limits may exist according to availability. Examples might include picking up/dropping off at daycare, pet food or supply shopping, taking your pet to a routine appointment, etc. Time starts when leaving the home and ends upon return. Mileage will be documented via google maps and charged at the IRS standard rate. MLC has the right to decline services that might not be in the best interest of the pet or sitter.

Special Occasions: If requested we can arrange to have your pet appear at a special event. Client must provide detailed instructions and safety plan (ie – if your dog is reactive to kids, a plan to keep kids away from the dog, or if event is outside, a spot to keep your dog cool, etc). We will transport your pet to and from the event and act as their “handler” as much as needed during the event. Timing and travel plans to be agreed upon before sit begins. Time starts when leaving the home and ends upon return. Mileage will be documented via google maps and charged at the IRS standard rate. MLC has the right to decline events that might not be in the best interest of the pet or sitter.

Hiking Adventure: If requested, during overnight pet sitting or daytime constant care we can take your pup on a hiking adventure! This can also be booked as a stand-alone service. Duration of the hiking adventure is three hours from pick up to drop off which includes transport to and from hiking location, mileage is included. MLC will decide the best area for hiking based on distance, weather, conditions, dog temperament, etc.
